Tuna & Sweetcorn Pitta

Quick, simple & super healthy lunch. Tuna, sweetcorn, spring onion & cucumber mixed with real mayonnaise & served on a gluten free pitta. Vitamin D is essential for building a strong immune system, get it naturally from the sun & by eating plenty of oily fish like tuna. Saving some fat & calories on light mayonnaise isn’t worth the sugar and chemicals it adds to your diet..

Ingredients

  • Gluten-free pitta bread
  • 145g can tuna, drained
  • 1/2 200g can sweetcorn, drained
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • Cucumber, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon real mayonnaise
  • Black pepper

Serves 1-2

5 minutes

 

Directions

  1. Combine tuna, sweetcorn, onions, black pepper & mayo in a bowl.
  2. Cut a pitta in half & toast in a toaster.
  3. Spread the tuna mix in the pitta & enjoy.
