Omelette with Baked Beans

Quick, simple & super healthy 4 minute omelette served with baked beans. Beans are a great source of iron, zinc & B vitamins. Look for no added sugar baked beans, there is very little different in taste. No added sugar cans are often produced with at least 25% less salt & with no added sweeteners. Worth some research to find a great tasting healthy choice in this category.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cooking olive oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 200g can no added sugar baked beans
  • Black pepper

Serves 1

5 minutes

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a small frying pan.
  2. Pour in the eggs,  cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Flip the omelette, cook for 4-5 minutes whilst cooking the baked beans as per pack instructions.
  4. Serve with black pepper.
