Waldorf Salad

Quick, simple & super healthy Waldorf salad with apple, celery, walnuts & no mayonnaise. To say walnuts are a nutritious food is an understatement. They provide healthy fats, fibre, vitamins, minerals & much more. Use fat-free Greek yoghurt made with skimmed milk or if dairy-free choose from one of the many delicious vegan plant-based alternative’s found in most supermarkets.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Small white cabbage, chopped
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 celery stick, chopped
  • Walnuts, chopped
  • Black pepper

Serves 2

10 minutes

Use either fat-free Greek yoghurt or vegan yoghurt

Directions

1. Mix ingredients together in a bowl.
