A few pointers to enjoying and achieving success on my ‘Lifetime healthy eating plan’.
Find dairy and gluten free versions of your favourite foods. It’s easier than ever to find dairy and gluten free products in most supermarkets. Try my recipes and take your time in the supermarket reading the nutritional labels.
Keep an open mind. Some of my favourite products in my super meals include cauliflower rice, vegan mayo, miso soup and almond milk. You’ll be surprised at how delicious some of these options are.
Incorporate nutrient-rich foods. When removing dairy from your daily diet you will need to replace It with broccoli, kale and spinach to help maintain the key nutrients your body needs, like vitamin D, calcium and protein. Or you could take a supplement https://www.newgendirect.com/index.php?route=product/manufacturer/info&manufacturer_id=5
There are plenty of foods other than dairy that we can consume to provide needed nutrients. In fact, just three Brazil nuts a day can help alkalize the body and calm any unwanted inflammation.
Just remember that transitioning to my lifetime diet can be as gradual as you want for your health and lifestyle. If you like to jump in with both feet first, here are a few quick changes I have made and recommend:
Cheese, bacon, pizza and chocolate are often the hardest sacrifice for my clients changing their diets. Just consider the potential health benefits before you say, “I can’t give that up”.
With a little meal prep and a few creative swaps, it becomes effortless. In my experience, the results are worth it.
Wishing you the very best of luck.
